I am descended from William Shephard FOSTER and Susannah (MORRIS?) who were in Wilkes County from ca 1788 until their death in October 1829. They had: Joseph Shephard FOSTER, Nancy, Susan, Patsy and Mary. I have a good data base for Joseph S. FOSTER but I don't know much about his sisters and their families. I would like to hear from someone who is interested in sharing and receiving information on these families. I am also intrigued with a Rody Ann PUCKETT who seems to be related/close to this family. She was married to Peter PUCKETT and after his death about 1790, she married Brazil DRURY. Who is Rody Ann? Is she the same Ann Morris who married Peter Puckett in Prince Edward County Virginia 26 April 1757? My Joseph Shephard Foster left Wilkes County about 1837 and moved to Montgomery County Alabama. I will appreciate any information. Thank you, Linda Rainey E-Mail address: Bartbirm@aol.com

I am seeking information on Jasper Crain, SPENCER CRAIN, George CRAIN and William CRAIN. They lived in Wilkes and Franklin County, Georgia from about 1785 to 1810. They were part of a large family which migrated from Virginia and North Carolina before moving north to Tennessee and Illinois. This family has me stumped. Spencer and Jasper should have married in Wilkes County. George and William were Revolutionary War soldiers who settled here after the war. Jasper and Spencer moved to Williamson County, Illinois about 1812 but George and William may have died in Wilkes county in 1796 and 1806. respectfully. Any help gratefully appreciated
