Pollard b. 1796, Susan m. Jesse Meadows, Elizabeth, Nancy, and Sabry. I'm trying to tie down William III parents. Any information will be appreciated.
I need to confirm JAMES SHERRER or ALLEN MA?RY'S service in the Georgia Militia. Also, need to confirm marriage of Nancy Sherrer (James' Daughter) to ALLEN MABRY. I found an entry for 1793 Wilkes County Georgia Militia for James Sherrer on a transcript, but, could not confirm with concrete data. Is there a list of the Georgia Militia's somewhere? My great, great grandfather, William Walton Huguley, served in the Confederate 37th Georgia Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. I believe he was born on November 2nd, 1836 in Danburg, Wilkes County, Georgia and died on September 20, 1888 in Wilkes County. He was married to Sallie L. Bunch. I would like to make a vigil to their graves and I am wondering if anyone can tell me exactly where they may be buried in Wilkes County.
Seeking information on John Thurmond who was named in the will of his father William Thurman that was probated in 1810. Would appreicate knowing if John was married in 1800, had children, and any other information available.
