John Badgett, a son of Shadrack A. and Mary (Parsons) Badgett, was born in Calhoun County VA in September 1859. He married Ida Belle Starcher December 27, 1891. Ida, a daughter of Peter Simon and Sarah (Wilson) Starcher, was born in Calhoun County September 9, 1867 and died April 20, 1957.

Edward Thomas Badgett, a son of Shadrack A. and Mary (Parsons) Badgett, was born in Calhoun County VA in Janaury 1862. He married Leota Stemple in Calhoun County October 23, 1887. Leota, a daughter of Andrew J. and Margaret Stemple, was born in VA in October 1871.

James E. Badgett, a son of Shadrack A. and Mary (Parsons) Badgett, was born June 12, 1865 and died in Calhoun County WV August 6, 1903. He married Verlina

Catherine Campbell in Calhoun County WV November 1, 1885. Catherine, a

daughter of Jacob J. and Rachel (Smith) Campbell, was born in VA in

October 25, 1864 and died in Calhoun County WV Hanaury 19, 1902. NOTE: Jacob J. Campbell was also known as Jacob J. Cogar.

(Hunt) Badgett, was born in Calhoun County WV December 2, 1915

and died at Clarksburg, Harrison County WV November 7, 1982. He

married Geneva Edith Jarvis in Calhoun County January 13, 1946.

Geneva was a daughter of Calvin S. and Grace (Bailey) Jarvis.

Children of Charter and Geneva Edith (Jarvis) Badgett.
