1.JOHN BELFORD

 

    John Belford was born in Va in 1841 and died in Calhoun

County WV December 28, 1902.  He married Susannah Rebecca Norman

in Monroe County, Ohio April 2, 1868.  Susannah, a daughter of

Richard James and Rebecca Anne Norman, was born November 22, 1852

in Monroe County and died in Calhoun County October 29, 1934.

    The family moved to Calhoun County WV in 1878.  After John's

death, Susannah married Daniel Kimble April 7, 1904. The marriage

license was dated April 6, 1904.

    Susan Rebecca Belford, a daughter John and Susannah Rebecca

(Norman) Belford, was born in Indiana in 1860 and died in Calhoun

County WV in 1957.  She married Rufus P. Wilson September 3,

1887.  Rufus, a son of James C. and Missouri Ann (Snider) Wilson, was

born December 25, 1867 and died in 1951.

    Hannah Jane Belford, a daughter of John and Susannah Rebecca

(Norman) Belford, was born at Sardis, Ohio February 2, 1872 and

died May 10, 1959.  She married Albert H. Jackson September 18,

1894.  Albert, a son of Edward and Susan Jackson, was born in

1872 and died in 1942.

    Brady B. belford, a son of John and Susannah Rebecca (Norman)

Belford, was born at Sardis, Ohio April 7, 1873 and died April

12, 1943.  He married Cora Agnes Metz November 7, 1897.  Cora, a

daughter of James Wesley and Lucy Ann Metz, was born in 1878 and

died in 1940.

    Rachel Elizabeth Belford, a daughter of John and Susannah

Rebecca (Norman) Belford, was born September 5, 1875 at Sardis,

Ohio and died April 2, 1906.  She married Thomas J. Wilson

December 21, 1894.  Thomas, a son of Robert and Jane Wilson, was

born February 2, 1872 and died July 27, 1965.

    Richard Lonzo "John" Belford, a son of John and Susannah Rebecca

(Norman) Belford, was born in Indiana in 1877 and died December

27, 1902.  He married Armina Burrows June 6, 1897.  Armina, a

daughter of Archibald and Amy Burrows, was born November 28, 18779 and

died in 1966.

    Richard is listed as "John Belford" in the 1900 Calhoun County WV

census.
