      John Anthony Bevel was born August 5, 1836 in Pulaski County VA. John married Martha Jane Godby December 9, 1854 in Montgomery County, VA. Martha was born October 11, 1838 in Montgomery County and died May 20, 1902 in Kanawha County,  WV.

      John Charles Bevel, a son John Anthony and Martha Jane (Godby) Bevel, was born August 12, 1855 in Pulaski County VA and died December 29, 1917 in Falling Rock Kanawha County,  WV. John married Hannah Caroline Riley March 17, 1878 in Kanawha County  WV. Hannah was born August 30, 1861 in Kanawha County and died there January 28, 1926.

John married Dorothy Alice Young.  Dorothy, a daughter of Amby Jay and Hattie (Ross) Young, Dorothy was born April 28, 1907 in  Roane County WV and died April 25, 1980 in Kanawha County WV.
