     Alexander H. Goad was born in VA IN 1813.  He married Elizabeth
Neal, a daughter of Jeremiah and Margaret Neal.  Elizabeth died before
1870.  Alex is listed as single in the 1870  Clay County WV census.

2.MARTIN D. GOAD     1.ALEXANDER H. GOAD

    Martin D. Goad, a son of Alexander H. and Elizabeth (Neal) Goad,
was born in 1849.  He first married Martha Brown.  Martha, a daughter
of John and Susan Brown, was born in 1860 and died March 22, 1894.
    Martin married Nancy Ann Pierson November 22, 1895.  Nancy, a
daughter of David and Martha (Fugate) Pierson, was born June 1, 1869
and died October 20, 1906.

3.JEREMIAH N. "JERRY" GOAD     1.ALEXANDER H.GOAD

     Jeremiah N.  "Jerry" Goad, a son of Alexander H. and Elizabeth
(Neal) Goad, was born in VA about 1852.  He married Mary Walker in
Clay County WV September 18, 1873.  Mary, a daughter of William
Patterson and Delilah (Samples) Walker, was born in VA about 1854.

4.BALLARD P. GOAD     1.ALEXANDER H. GOAD

    Ballard P. Goad, a son of Alexander H. and Elizabeth (Neal) Goad,
was born in 1854.  He married Elizabeth Blakney. Elizabeth, a daughter
of Moses and Elizaberh Blakney, was born in Armstrong County PA Aprik 5,
1860 and died in WV January 1, 1913.
    Elizabeth married Benjamin Michael Clinton Drake in Clay County WV
May 4, 1888.

Known children of Ballard P. and Elizabeth (Blakney) Goad.

16.ALEXANDER GOAD     3.JEREMIAH N. "JERRY" GOAD     1.ALEXANDER
GOAD

     Alexander Goad, a son of J.M. "Jerry" and Mary (Walker) Goad, was
born in VA in 1887 and died in 1938.  He married Donna Procious.
Donna, a daughter of Adam and Mary (Paxton) Procious, was born in
1884.

Known children of Alexander and Donna (Paxton) Goad.
