1.ROBERT MCGILL

    Robert McGill was born in Scotland about 1645 and died in Ulster, 
Ireland after 1715.  His wife is unknown.

2.WILLIAM MCGILL     1.ROBERT MCGILL

    William McGill was born in Scotland about 1670 and died in Augusta 
County VA after October 1749.  He married Margaret Glass after 1726.
    William moved from Scotland to Ulster, Ireland about 1715, from 
Ireland to Bucks County PA in 1726 and to Augusta County VA in 1745.

4.WILLIAM MCGILL    2.WILLIAM MCGILL     1.ROBERT MCGILL

    William McGill, a son of William and Margaret (Glass) McGill, was 
born in Antrim County Ireland about 1715 and died in Greene County TN 
about 1805.  He married Jean Fowler before 1747.  Jean was born about 
1725 and died after 1785.
    William came from Ireland to Bucks County PA about 1726 and moved 
from Bucks County to Augusta County VA about 1745.

6.JOHN MCGILL    2.WILLIAM MCGILL     1.ROBERT MCGILL

    John McGill, a son of William and Margaret (Glass) McGill, was 
born in Ulster, Ireland about 1720.  He married Mary ------ about 1749 
in Augusta County VA.
    Apparently the family moved to Augusta county and then to Kentucky 
about 1782.
