2.ELIZABETH PICKENS    1.JOHN PICKENS

    Elizabeth Pickens, a daughter of John Pickens, was born in
Randolph County about 1801 and died in Calhoun County WV between 1860
and 1870.  She married Job Westfall.  Job was born in Randolph County
VA sometime between 1790 and 1796 (his age is given differently in
three different census records) and died in Gilmer County WV after
1870.

    Alexander James Pickens, son of John Pickens, was born in Augusta 
County VA about 1812 and died July 15, 1877.  He married Mary "Polly" 
Beall.  Mary, a daughter of George H. and Mary Ann (Parsons) Beall, 
was born in Randolph County VA (WV) about 1815.

    George Houser Pickens, a son of Alexander James and Mary (Beall)
Pickens, was born in Gilmer County VA (WV) in 1844 and died in 1905.
He married Rachel Kennedy.  Rachel, a daughter of James Russell and
Rebecca (Dennison) Kennedy, was born in 1846 and died in 1927.

    Calvin Curry Pickens, a son of George Houser and Rachel (Kennedy)
Pickens, was born in 1869 and died in 1951.  He married Ida Stalnaker
April 17, 1895.  Ida was a daughter of Nathaniel Wellington and
Marietta Stalnaker.
