Unidentified People
(2 photos, above)
These were taken by Leyden’s Photography in Manning, IA. The family names in my tree are Newell, Sparks, Rayburn, Kleppinger. None lived in Manning that I can tell... perhaps the Kleppinger’s as they moved to western Iowa and then on to Nebraska. If someone even knew what years Leyden’s was in business that would be helpful. Thank you!

Amos was the youngest son of James and Nancy Dillavou from Greene Co., Iowa, but lived in Glidden and ran a well digging business which was taken over by his son Cecil after WWII.
Bertha was the daughter of William K. and Harriett Barnholt Jordan, they moved to Carroll Co. in 1883, with Wm. dying in 1885. Harriett continued to live on the Jordan farm, northeast of Glidden until her death in 1929.
The Dillavou's had an infant son, Lloyd, who died young.
