The following data was extracted from an old plat map of Decatur County. I've tried to keep the spelling just as it was on the map and am still working on extracting the individual town locations, schools, churches and number of acres owned by each person. The print on the map is sometimes difficult to read and I have denoted questionable names or missing/illegible letters with a "?".

 This plat map was originally published in 1875, so many individual towns you associate with Decatur County may not have been there when it was drawn up.

Working with the map is TEDIOUS, but I have extracted all the names of the property owners. In order to read most of the amounts of land each owned however, I'm going to have to invest in a better magnifying glass!
