L. H. Kuehnle
crops as to conserve the
natural fertility of the soil. He understands well the value of money and, as
he is careful to save something from his income each year and judicious in his investments, his capital is steadily
increasing.
On the 12tb of May,
1893, Mr.
Kuehnle married Miss Katieriue E, Cousins, a native of England, who was born October 25, 1870, a daughter of Stephen and Sarah (Ford)
Cousins, also natives of that country. In 1872, when Mrs. Kuehnle
was but two years of age, the family came to America and located in this
county. Both parents passed away here. To them were born sixteen children, four
of whom survive. Mr. and Mrs. Kuehnle have four
children, namely: George L., born June 12,
1894; Edward J., whose birth occurred November
23, 1896; Delia G., born January 23, 1900; and Louis II., Jr.,
born December
9, 1902. The parents are members of the
Methodist Episcopal church and practice in their
daily lives the principles which they profess. All who know Mr. Kuehnle honor him for his great
industry, perseverance and integrity, and
none grudges him the success which he so well deserves.
