Albert F. March is a successful farmer residing on section 33, Bremen township,, and is a
native son of the county, his birth having occurred in Delhi township, May 20, 1885. His
parents were Ferdinand and Wilhelmina (Steva) March,
both born in Germany. The mother accompanied her parents to this country when she was a child of eight
years, and the father was about seven-teen years of age when he came to the United States. They reside upon an excellent farm in North Fork township
and enjoy the confidence and good-will of their neighbors.
Mr. March of this review received his
education in the district schools and was reared under the parental roof, early
becoming familiar with
the work of the farm. Upon reaching years of maturity he decided
to make agriculture his life work as he considered it a congenial and
profitable occupation, and he has never had occasion to regret his choice. The
farm of sixty-six acres which he operates is the best proof of his industry and
ability, as everything about it is kept in excellent repair and the soil is in
a high state of cultivation. He raises both grain and live stock and his
labors are rewarded by a good annual income from the farm.
Mr. March was married January 12, 1910, to Miss Ruth E. Hunt, a daughter of Robert
and Mary (Sperring) Hunt. To Mr. and Mrs. March have
been born three children, Albert Leroy, Robert William, and Earl Sylvester. Mr.
March is a republican in his political belief and manifests a lively interest
in everything relating to the public good. He is a member of the German
Lutheran church, while Mrs. Hunt is a member of the Congregational church.
Although still a young man he has proven himself an agriculturist of ability and
energy, and his friends predict for him a successful future.
