Frank J. Seger
has spent his entire life on the farm which he now owns and operates, the
property embracing one hundred and sixty acres of
rich and productive land on section 15,

In the acquirement of an education Frank J. Seger
attended the common schools. His father died when he was but fifteen years of
age, and he subsequently took charge of the home farm, later purchasing the property.
The place comprises one hundred and sixty acres of land on section 15,
won a gratifying and well merited measure of success in his undertakings as an
agriculturist and is also engaged in auctioneering, being much in demand in
this capacity.
In 1896 Mr. Seger was united in marriage to Miss Eurena B. Allen, who was born in Delaware county, Iowa, on
the 11th of August, 1871, her
parents being Richardson and Sarah E. (Whiting) Allen, natives of Canada. They
crossed the border into the
Mr. Seger gives his political allegiance to the republican party and is now serving as township assessor,
while for eight years he held the office of township clerk, ever discharging his
public duties in an able and praiseworthy manner. His religious faith is indicated
by his membership in the Congregational church. In the community where they
have spent their entire lives, Mr. and Mrs. Seger
have won many friends who highly esteem and honor them for their many good
qualities of mind and character.
