Most pre-1930 records are available on microfilm through the State Historical Society of Iowa on interlibrary loan and through the rental program available at your local Family History Library. Some microfilm records are also available for your use at the Burlington Public Library. The researcher might be wise to take advantage of these microfilm resources before contacting the above-mentioned offices.
