Irish News Bad times, famine and wars, drove thousands of Irish a month to New York.

Irish Emigration to Iowa Many of the Irish, English and Germans also migrated to Iowa.

Irish Fineans in Iowa Finians were Irish whom among other things wanted to drive England from Canada.

Bad weather in Iowa, lost crops and many deaths. Terrible weather destroyed crops, blocked roads and railways and many people froze to death or lost limbs to frostbite.

Bad weather in Iowa continued.
