In the beginning 1996 we had no automated query programs, but later on a couple of query programs were developed by Rootsweb and others, but usually broke after awhile and data was lost.

Sue Soden, started this system of recording queries in 1997.

We call it the manual query system and while most queries are posted to county mail list, for very detailed queries still use this forum. It is handy for helping people find lost bibles, photographs, census, etc.
