Loper Cemetery is in south-east corner of Section 12, FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Des Moines County, Iowa.

Find the gravesite of the earliest Settler in BENTON TOWNSHIP and a Veteran of the War of 1812 - MATHEW W. LATTY.     

Directions: 

From the intersection of Mt. Pleasant and Roosevelt Streets in Burlington, Iowa, you will need to travel east approximately 1 1/2 miles. This cemetery is about 1/2 of a mile past Sperry.
