1840 CENSUS
Dubuque, IA - District 2

I have compared my transcription with the transcription by Marjorie Smith which was donated to the Jo Daviess Co. USGenWeb site. Our transcriptions differ in that I have added additional columns not found in her transcription as well as corrected some of the spelling of the names. This was transcribed as seen, including all misspellings. No attempt has been made to take them from their phonetic spellings (in some cases) and turn them into their more generally accepted spellings.
