This photo was part of some photos belonging to my great-grandparents William Henry Miller b. 1872 in Cascade and Julia Ann O'Meara b. 1870 in Earlville. They were married in 1891 in Worthington. Perhaps someone would be able to identify this photo or know something about the records of the photographer. I have about 6 other unidentified photos.
Thank you.

I strongly believe they are the grandparents of my grandfather, Oden Brown, of Dubuque, Iowa. I have no names or dates of these persons, unfortunately. Many, many thanks!

I have several unidentified Dubuque Co. pictures that I would love to submit to your viewers.
I have taken these pictures from an album belonging to my grandmother. She was Anna Josephine Metz born March 28, 1873, and run over by a train January 12, 1930, in Chariton, Ia. She was married to Herman Joseph Steinbach, born October 5, 1864, in Honnef, Germany, and died May 9, 1951, in Chariton, Ia. They were married April 29, 1895, in Bauer, Ia. The only clue I have is that the priest is possibly Fr. Hinien.
- young girl
- baby
- priest with 3 first communion children.
- priest and 2 couples, probably a wedding picture.

The only thing on the back of this picture is "What do you think of my little Farley sweetheart? Geo." I assume Geo. is George Billasch. I wasn't sure what Farley referred to but I notice there is a town of Farley. She doesn't really look like the daughter of George M.

I found this picture at my grand-parent's house - Arnold and Lois (Reuter) Green. We're not sure who the people in this photo were or when this photo was taken. There was nothing written on the back of this photo. Grandma and Grandpa didn't know and neither did my parents. As my great grandmother Celestine Reuter's maiden name was Jungers, we were thinking that it might have been members of the Jungers family in this photo. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I was recently sent these photos by Mark Loes (mloes@mac.com). He told me a Malinda Gollobitz Olsem had thought that these photos were of my great-great-grandparents, Nicholas and Elizabeth (Loes) Green. When Mark spoke to her about these images in the 1980's, Malinda was in her 90's. Malinda was about 4 1/2 when Elizabeth died on November 22, 1897, and therefore she was around 5 years old when Nicholas died on June 17, 1898. The fact that the photographer N. Chennaux of Cascade took these two pictures is a pretty good sign that these are in fact pictures of Nicholas and Elizabeth. I have shown these to several members of my family. This is the first time we've seen pictures of either of them. While my family wasn't 100% sure of the identifications of these two people, my aunt thought there was a resemblance - especially between Elizabeth and other members of my family. If anyone could confirm that the identities of the people in these photographs, or if they have other photos of Nicholas & Elizabeth, it would be greatly appreciated.
