My name is Linnie Howell. I have been researching my Fayette County ancestors for more than twenty-five years. My Hoover and Rosier families lived there in 1850. The IAGenWeb Project has developed several websites to assist those researching Iowa ancestors. Those links can be found on the Iowa State Site. There is also an email discussion list for every county in Iowa. To join the Fayette County Iowa email discussion list click on the link below and follow the instructions.
