Iowa Falls Historical Society is located at 519 Stevens in the refurbished Dow House. One of the highlights in the home is an outstanding petitpoint collection by the late Earl Kuns. The summer hours are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 1:00-4:00 or by appointment at 641/648-4017 or 641/648-3606

The lower level of the recently renovated Carnegie/ Ellsworth Library, at 520 Rocksylvania Avenue, showcases individual stores representing historic Iowa Falls' businesses. Each store displays memorabilia significant to the past. Hours are 1:00-4:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday or by appointment at 641/648-4017 or 641/648-3606.

The Railroad complex on East Rocksylvania Avenue highlights the renovated Depot, Mills Tower and a caboose. These sites are available by calling 641/648-2849 for an appointment.

The museum contains artifacts relating to the history of Iowa Falls and the surrounding area.  Displays are changed annually.
