"Beeson House, Home of Fred Hall"
believed to be in Tippecanoe Township. Mr. Hall is my g-grandfather, who lived
there during his childhood. I am trying to learn more of this house. Fred Hall

The front paper frame says: "McMahon's Star Gallery, Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The tintype is affixed to the paper frame by some kind of glue, and holding it on the back is a small piece of old newspaper. The newsprint appears to be written in Swedish. Photo of a Mt. Pleasant, Iowa couple: Photo taken by the "B. McMahon, Photographic Gallery of Art, North Side of the Square, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa". The back of the photo also says: "Negatives retained for future orders". This photo was found in the family photos of the Anderson family. Possibly from the Gust Anderson family who emigrated and settled in Mt. Pleasant/Swedesburg area in 1870. As a fellow genealogy person I wanted to send a copy of a photo to you. I've been trying to go thru old photos I have acquired and add them to my computer files. The attached was one that wasn't labeled, so I don't know if it's a relative of mine or not. You may know the time frame by the photographer involved or possibly you could post it and see if anyone does know this person. I have the original framed photo. Any help is appreciated...
