Mary Louise Phillips spent many hours transcribing the records that had been kept on the backs of old checks at the funeral home in Wapello. The project is now complete. MEMORIAL: A donation has been made to Rootsweb in memoriam to Lloyd Phillips, an active member and participant of the Louisa County Genealogical Society. Lloyd was always willing to help on any project and will be greatly missed by the group.
