This is not a complete listing of burials at the Columbus City Cemetery.  The burials listed here are ones which were recorded in the late 1930's by the Works Progress Administration.  WPA listings rarely recorded burials of children under 10, and spelling errors caused by misreads and transcriptions from the original handwritten slips used at this time are always a problem.  However, in some cases, stones which were in place when their readings were taken have now vanished, making their work invaluable to modern-day researchers.
