Joseph William Gideon was born 14 Jul 1829 at Mad River, Champaign Co, OH. He was married first to Elizabeth Duckworth and had two young boys, John and David, who both died as infants. Elizabeth died after the birth of the second son. They are all buried with the Duckworth family in Plum Cemetery, Logan Co OH. Joseph soon after married again in Champaign Co OH to Mary Jane Idle, and they removed to Iowa. Joseph died 22 Feb 1922 in Muscatine IA. His wife Mary Jane Idle was born 30 March 1833 in Champaign Co OH and died 03 Jan 1897 in rural Conesville. Lot 51 |
