number of errors have been found to exist in the WPA records so please note we
have NOT verified them for accuracy.
Some of the other listings were extracted from obituaries, tombstone
photographs and site visitor submittals.
Items in blue with no research sources were gleaned from various sources
which have not been verified.

cemetery listings, this information may contain errors and should be verified
by the individual researcher.
A brief note
regarding the Burr family: As a result of
the tragedy surrounding the repossession of the Burr family farm, their story
was covered on national news reports and in “Lone Tree: A True Story of
Murder In America’s Heartland” by Bruce Brown.
This story, and
others like it from all over the country, were what prompted the organization
of the Farm Aid concerts.
