Nichols Cemetery
Pike Twp
Muscatine Co, Iowa

Photographs on this page taken by Susan Martin-Rott in August of 1998 unless otherwise noted.

These are all various views of Kirchner burial plots within the Nichols Cemetery

The small Kirchner stones did not photograph very well.
This is the stone of Nannie E. Kirchner, daughter of
Robert Conley Black and Mary Melissa Johns.
Nannie was a lifelong Nichols resident, born 01 May 1879.
Married Bernard A. Kirchner
She died in Nichols on 26 Mar 1901
I didn't have much better luck with this stone.  This is the marker of
Bernard A. Kirchner, husband of Nannie E. Black.  Bernard was the son
of Bernhard Kirchner and Charlotte Lenz.  He was born 16 Sep 1873
in Muscatine County and died in 1929.
This is the monument of a young child not quite
three months of age.  These parents must have
truly been heartbroken at her loss.

Anna May Lindrum
daughter of J.W. and M. M. Lindrum
born 25 Sept 1873
died 20 Dec 1873
