Chapter 17.
GROVE CEMETERY, Amity Twp.
Grove Cemetery is an abandoned cemetery, 1ocated just outside of
College Springs. It is in section 7, Amity Township. It is divided
into two sections (with a corn field in between). We have labeled
them East and West for easy reference. This is the only cemetery
in Page County with a Revolutionary Soldier buried there, his name
being Daniel DOW, and he is in the East Section. This Cemetery
was read on March 2, 1974 by Barbara Hartman and Betty Ankeny.
There is no way to read this cemetery in rows, as some of the graves
have been moved to the College Springs Cemetery. (See Chapter 24,
Maple Hill Cemetery. ..prs) We have listed them alphabetical for
this reason.
Revised and edited in 1995, by Paul R. Sarrett, Jr.
