 proprieter of Grist Mill, Secton 29, [Lincoln Twp.]
P.O. Coin, IA.

Born in Sciota Co., Ohio, April 1828. Remained at home until age 28 years; [1856]
then came to Iowa City, [Johnson Co.] IA. and engaged in mill-wrighting and 
building for 13 years. [1869] 

In 1869 he moved to Page Co., Lincoln Twp. where he purchased the
Mill property of PHIFER & DAVIDSON and since been engaged in the Mill business.
Has recently been extend and improving his Mill property.

Before leaving the state of his navity [Ohio] he was married to
Miss Mary YONKER of Stockton Co., Ohio.
By this union they have 2 Children:

At the age of a25y he married (bfr 1876) to 
Miss Nancy Ann HAYNER;

b. 1856, Unknown Co., IA.
d. 1892, a36y in Page Co., IA. (per headstone)
Buried along side her husband, (double stone) in the Snow Hill Cemetery
(Row 2, Lot 12)
