At a24y he married on 1831 in Alleghany Co., PA. to 
17 year old Miss SARAH TAGGART,
(d/o M/M TAGGART Parents of Ireland)
b. 30 Oct 1814, County Antrim, Ireland.
d. 23 Aug 1895, a81y SE Page Center, IA.
Bur. Covenanter Cemetery. (#4 on Lot 68).
She came to America when 5 yrs old, landing at Philadelphia. In 1851
they moved to Louisa Co., IA and the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian
Church. Alexander was elected Deacon and served until his death, 18 Dec
1857 (with typhoid fever). Bur. in Sharon Cemetery. In 1873 the family
moved to Page Co., IA, 2 mile east of Page Center and united with the
Clarinda R.P.C.

Bur. Covenanter Cemetery. (#3 on Lot 68).
Moved with parents to Des Moines Co., IA. Came to Page County in 1873 
and settled on the farm 7 mile SW of Clarinda. Thomas never married. 
He was in poor health most his life. Member Reformed Presbyterian 
Church. He and brother Will, lived together on the home place.

War, 11th Iowa lnf. Joined Clarinda Reformed Presbyterian Apr 1870, from
Sharon Congregation. m. 11 May 1878, Clarinda, IA, MARY ELIZA NELSON
(called Eliza) b 24 Feb 1847, Caladonia Co., VT. Moved to Ellicottville,
NY (d/o John & Priscilla (Bovee) Nelson). Lived Sec. 20 Harlan Twp.
Farmers. Eliza d 1922; John d 15 Oct 1926. Both bur. Covenanter
Cemetery. (#6,& 7 of Lot 92).	(see NELSON).

		in Iowa, then California. She d 13 July 1983.

		clerk, Bookkeeper. She d 9 Nov 1966; Her life had been
		one of service to her loved ones.

		(Bd. Covntr; CHJ 11 Mar 1954, CHJ 05 Apr 1954
		Grace was a step-dau. of Benjamin Henry Eberly and 
		Elizabeth Jane (MALONEY) BROWN; They lived just north of
		the Covenanter church. Farmer; Reformed Presbyterian Church. 
		No children. 

	vi.	James Stanley Glasgow (called Stanley), b 16 Dec 1889. 
		m. 18 Aug 1916, NETTlE DePUEY. Ran a dairy at Clarinda. 
		He d 18 May 1959. No children.

7. ROBERT HAMILTON GLASGOW,
5th s/o Alexander & Sarah (TAGGART) GLASGOW)
b 26 July 1346. Robert was murdered. A group of boys in the
neighborhood became involved in stealing. it began with chickens to
roast, then to pigs, hiding them in a cave and selling them. Robert
Glasgow was involved but was determined to break with the gang. The
others were afraid that he would reveal to authorities what he knew of
the evil which had been going on. He was apparently confronted by the
boys, near some hay stacks along the creek west of the Rock Bottom
schoolhouse. His body was found there and he was buried in Sharon
Cemetery. After Mr. James Henderson found a club covered with blood,
John (brother of Robert) doubted his alleged accidental death and
insisted the body be disinterred. One member of the gang was present and
was trembling continually and when the body was produced, examined and
a skull fracture was discovered, the fellow confessed. The assailant was
arrested, convicted and served a sentence. Robert d 10 Dec 1866; age 20
year. Buried at Sharon.

MARGARET A. MORGAN, b 23 May 1884, Wales; As a nurse attended
Will during a severe illness. Farmed Harlan Twp. -the home place. Deacon
and Elder Reformed Presbyterian Church. He cared for his mother until
her death 1895, and his elder brother, Thomas until his death 1907. 
Margaret d 22 Apr 1953. Will d 25 Jan 1940. Both but. Covenanter Cemetery
(#1,#2 on Lot 68).

		b 5 July 1912. Adopted by Will and Margaret.
		WWII Army 1942-1945 MP. m. 11 Dec 1941,
