This is NOT an concentrated study of the POLSLEY Family, we are only displaying this family as it
relates to the POLSLEY Family of Page Co., IA.
In the absence of absolute proof, circumstantial evidence,
both legally and genealogically, has been allowed in the following
conclusions and will be conceded when any other such proof of an opposite
is provide which also is logical and reasonable and not opposed by
any other evidence, that
John H. POLSLEY, (1793-1879 age 85yrs) is the 2nd Son of
Jacob & Margaret (Haymond) POLSLEY of Fairmont, Marion Co., now West Virginia.

his War record on our applications beneath the words's. "Ancestor's Service" a. Jacob POLSLEY. Supplement list of Pennsylvania soldier's in the War of the Revolution. List of Soldiers, Militia, Flying Camp and Rangers who were applicants for Staff Annuities giving residence at the time of Assembly; BOLTZLEY, Jacoh -- Monongalia Co., Virginia, enlisted in Pennsylvania Militia Aug. l, 1780, serving seven months. b. POLSLEY, Jacob: Private. Received Depreciation Pay as a Soldier in the York Co. Militia. c. Revolutionary Ancestor was married in Harrison Co., Va. May 31, 1791 d. POLSEY's Mills was in Monongalia Co. Virginia —- afterwards Palatine Harrison Co. Now it is part of Fairmont, Marion Co.. WV. e.
