I'm looking for information on the parents of Mary FLYNN born April 1, 1888 at Clarinda, Iowa. (She was my grandfather's sister.) Parents' names are Joseph (middle name Patrick or Michael?) FLYNN and Margaret Jane DWYER. Margaret Jane Dwyer was born in Iowa March 4, 1865, the daughter of John Dwyer and his wife Margaret. Have no idea about Joseph or when they were married. The family moved to Cedar County, Nebraska sometime between 1888 and 1896 when my grandfather, Patrick Joseph Flynn was born. Joseph and Margaret had six other children, I have a feeling that Mary may have been the oldest, or at least close to it. Any and all help on this difficult line of mine would be most appreciated!

Searching for descendents of Bedford Freeman born 1829 died 1891 in Page County Iowa. Wife's name was Mary J. children: William Lowery, Catherine Merklin, Ruth Ann Skinner, Hila Caroline Wallace, Lobena, Zena A. Roub, Mary E. Freeman, Louisa Sherman. Heirs of Louisa Sherman Ira A. Sherman, Eva E. Sherman, Lessie Sherman, Nora J. Sherman, Ella A. Sherman and Rachel K. Morrill his stepdaughter. Bedford was in the 1860 Page Co Census also listed as living in his household were Francis born about 1857 in Iowa and Eliza born abt. 1859 in Iowa. The 1870 Page Co. census listed children as Rachael, William, Francis C., Liza Ann, Ruth, Carla C. born about 1864, Robel A. born about 1867, and Zina V. born about 1868 The 1880 census index shows more children Mary E. born 1871, this census also shows two boarders.
