Our mission is: To assist you in your genealogical search and to help Preserve the History andHeritage of our county. We encourage you to browse our site and visit it often as we are continually adding new items to help you in your quest for family information. PLEASE feel free to contact us if you need additional help.For those who may wish to visit Council Bluffs, our Genealogical Society owns and operates The Frontier Heritage Library, located at 622 Fourth Street.
Summer hours (May through September): Tuesday and Thursday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Winter hours (Oct through April): Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
