Attached is a photo of the Travelers Baseball Team that played in Burlington, Des Moines Co., in the early 1900s. The photo, taken in 1908, was printed on a postcard. It appears that the photographer's name might have been Weiler as this name is printed at the lower left corner. However, this might also be the name of the first player in the front row. My grandfather, Walter Whalen, is the gentleman to the far left in the back row. Have often wondered who these other men are and whether their descendants might be looking for this photograph.
