Carson Cemetery |
The Carson Cemetery is located on U.S. Highway 59, 1 mile east of the town of Carson and about 1/2 mile north of Highway 92. Ten acres of ground was donated in the late 1800's to the town of Carson for the cemetery by Alva Burton.
Some of the stones have been relocated here from the Pioneer Cemetery in Macedonia Township. Therre are several UNMARKED BURIALS in the cemetery, but they have been recorded.
The cemetery is well kept and active.
