Zion Cemetery |
Zion Cemetery is located in Section 30 of Keg Creek Township. In the Pottawattamie County Plat Book, it is listed as owned by the Zion Church Evangelical Association.
Land transfers at the County Auditor's office lists an entry as follows: "to German Evangelical Church, one acre in NW corner of SW 1/4 of SW 1/4, Township 74 N, Range 42 W." No date or donor given.
The location of the cemetery is south of G 66 on L 45 on the east side of the road, just before the railroad tracks. It is enclosed with a chain link fence and still active.
