How many times have you seen photos and other obvious family memorabilia at flea markets and estate auctions? Don't you just know that someone, somewhere would be overjoyed to have this material? Don't you wish someone would contact you with the message that he just found a Thompson family Bible and he thinks it's YOUR Thompsons?
Thus we begin our Lost & Found Department. Here we will post notices of who's lost or found what. This is also where we will attempt to identify people and places in old photographs. You know, those wonderful treasures bearing absolutely no clue as to who or what the subject is.
You are invited to submit items for this page, but it MUST have a Pottawattamie County, Iowa, connection. For now, email us what you have or what you're looking for. Please put "Pott. Lost & Found" in the subject. Let us know if you have photos to submit and we'll discuss how to get them to us.
