PRINCETON. On the west bank of the Mississippi river, in Scott county, 20 miles northeast of Davenport (c. h.) and  1 1/2 west of Cordova, Ill., on the R & S. div C.M. & St. P. Ry. Its shipping point by rail. It has 2 churches, a free school, and ships grain, hogs, and cattle. Population 600. Mail daily. J.B. Parcell, postmaster.
