Sioux City Journal, 16 November 1998:  Lucille Rosa Dennis, 82, formerly of Sioux City died Sunday, Nov 15, 1998, at a Holstein, Iowa nursing home.  Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson Berger Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. A. T.  Washington officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Mrs. Dennis was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of Aaron and Cora (Pierce) Coon.  She married Owen Doyle Dennis on Jan 9, 1943, in Elk Point, S.D.  She was a homemaker.  He died June 23, 1976.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing cards in the Ladies Card Club.  Survivors include a brother and his wife, Clifford and Lucille of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
