Birth, Marriage death records began in 1880. There is a Marriage index that started in 1878 and is on microfilm. Records between 1921-1941 are incomplete (as per a record message from the Woodbury County Vital Records dept. 5/4/00) you may have to contact the Iowa State Vital Records Dept in Des Monies Iowa.
