St Charles; Brick laying on the walls of the
new LDS meeting house will be completed this week.

Mrs. Emily Cozzens went to Salt Lake Sunday to
take a three week course in dress making.

N C Lambert went to Spokane last Monday to get
his name on the list for the land opening there next week.

Miss Arena Phelps has been quite ill this past
week. It was thought for several days that she was taking down with
typhoid fever, but the doctor now reports it a type of malaria fever.

Bear Lake County will be represented at the GAR reunion in Salt Lake next week by the following veterans, all of whom will be accompanied by their wives: John W Langford, Joe Lewis, James P Nowland, John L Underwood and Steve Staley. David C Stuart, who wore the gray during the civil war, will also go down and while he cannot participate in parade and business sessions of this great organization, he will enjoy himself swapping years with the "old boys" against whom he fought during the war.
