Ray Pugmire Arrested Car Thieves
The Montpelier Examiner, December 9, 1937
Two car and gasoline thieves by the names of Richard Lacy and William Lois were arrested by Ray Pugmire, night watchman, on Highway 30N Monday about 1 am. The pair were arrested on a charge of stealing gasoline after they had refused to pay a Soda Springs service station for 10 gallons of gas they had put in their car.
Soda Springs authorities immediately notified Officer Pugmire who, assisted by Harry Nuckols, made the arrest. Further investigation revealed the two were driving a car that had been stolen over two months ago in Washington.
