Albert Huff

    Graveside memorial services for Albert E. Huff, 75, of Nampa Route 1, who died Thursday, May 5, at his home of natural causes, will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Melba Cemetery by the Rev. Evert E. Roberts, Meridian Gospel Tabernacle.
    The cortege will leave Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa at 11 a.m.
    He was born Dec. 21, 1907, at Altus, Okla., and moved with his family to New Mexico and then to Hansen, Idaho, where he was reared and attended school.  He farmed in that area for a time and was later manager of the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant at Burley for several years.  He moved to the Melba area in 1948.
    He married Florence Garner May 27, 1949, at Missoula, Mont., and they made their home in this area and farmed until retiring and moving to Nampa in 1977.
    He attended the Meridian Gospel Tabernacle and was a life member of Nampa Lodge No. 1389, B.P.O.E.
    He is survived by his wife of Nampa; three daughters, Artie Jensen of Twin Falls, Bette Peck of Nampa, and Patti Burke of Eugene, Ore.; a stepson, Larry Garner of Boise; two brothers, Irvin Huff of Kuna and Herman Huff of Nampa; two sisters, Ruby Plummer and Dorothy Anders of Nampa; his mother-in-law, Florence Kriley, Nampa; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
    Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
    Memorials may be made to the Hospice Service, Mercy Medical Center, Nampa; to the Idaho Youth Ranch, Rupert, or flowers may be sent.
