Allen J. Harris

    Services for Allen J. Harris, 23, of 206 East Hazel St., Caldwell, who died Saturday, Sept. 3, at his home of natural causes will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Edward Sladek of the Memorial Park Baptist Church, Caldwell.
    Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
    He was born Oct. 2, 1959, in Caldwell.  He attended the Caldwell schools and graduated from Caldwell High School in 1978.  He was active in high school sports and was the Past Master Counselor for the Caldwell DeMolays.
    He graduated from the College of Southern Idaho where he was active in College Rodeo and had attended Boise State University.  He was employed by Milliner Transfer and Storage in Nampa for the past two and one-half years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
    He is survived by his parents, Jim and Florine Harris, of Caldwell; a sister, Lisa Pyne of Boise; two brothers, Todd and Shane Harris, both of Caldwell; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bernice Wirta of Caldwell; paternal grandparents, Dave and Marie Harris of Caldwell and W.W. Walmsley of Caldwell; his father, R.D. Walmsley of Boise; and numerous aunts and uncles and two nieces.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Ralene, and a brother, Bradly.
    Friends may call at the chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
    Memorials may be made to the Caldwell High School Scholarship Fund in care of Dakan Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1386, Caldwell, Idaho 83606.
