Amanda A. Martin
Dies at Caldwell |
CALDWELL –
Amanda Alice Martin, Parma, died in a Caldwell hospital Monday
evening.
She was born October 20, 1866 in Illinois. When she was 12 the
family moved to Phillipsburg, Kansas where they homesteaded.
She was married to Freeman Adelbert Martin February 2, 1885,
and the two came to Parma in the spring of 1935.
She was a member of the Parma Pentecostal church where
services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Paul
Yaden will officiate and interment will be at Parma.
Survivors are four sons, Forie, Fred, Claude and Lee, all of Parma;
a sister, Margaret Miller of Ponderay, Idaho; 22 grandchildren
and 39 great grandchildren. |
