Funeral services for
Ava Brilla Hansen, 83, of 420 Almond St., Nampa, who died
Wednesday, Jan. 4, in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted
at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
Don Hanna, associate pastor of the Nampa First United
Methodist Church, officiating. Private interment will follow
in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hansen was born April 1, 1900, at Urbana, Iowa. She
was reared and educated in Iowa, later moving with her family
to South Dakota. She married Henry H. Hansen Feb. 24, 1920,
at Platte. S.D. They farmed in South Dakota until moving to
Nampa 24 years ago. She was an active member of the Nampa
First Methodist Church and belonged to the Neighborhood Club.
She is survived by her husband of Nampa; one son, I.C.
Hansen, Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Leota Cook, Nampa;
three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. |
