Bertha Gettle

     Services for Bertha Gettle, 64, of Adrian, Oregon, who died May 13 at home of natural causes, will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    Elder Roger Bierwagen of the 7th-Day Adventist Church, Homedale, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Roswell Cemetery.
    Mrs. Gettle was born April 22, 1920 in Texas to Luis and Hortense Hernandez. She moved with her family to the Los Angeles, Calif. area where she was reared. She married Henry Gettle on Nov. 22, 1940 in Los Angeles.
    They farmed at Indio and Oroville, Calif. and later at Bonanza and Adrian, Oregeon where she had lived since. Mr. Gettle died in September of 1961. She was a member of the Parma 7th-Day Adventist Church.
    She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Gettle of Walla Walla, Wash., Petty deBoer of Middleton, and Chris Allen Burg of Klamath Falls, Oregon; three sons, James Gettle of Adrian, Mike Gettle of Weiser, and John Gettle of Klamath Falls; one brother, Luis Hermamdez of Oroville; three sisters, Connie Griffith of Tucker, GA; Dixie Adam of Tucker; and Ruth Dena of Paradise, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Allred.
    Friends may call at the chapel in Parma today from 7 to 9 p.m.
