Graveside services for Clay A. Garrett, 83, of Caldwell,
who died Monday, May 20, in a Caldwell hospital of natural
causes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Wilder
Pastor John Sinclair of the First Christian Church,
Caldwell, will officiate under the direction of Dakan Funeral
Mr. Garrett, a retired farmer, was born March 6, 1902, at
Star to Thomas and Elizabeth Garrett. They homesteaded in Long
Valley. In 1913 the family moved to Competition, Mo.

of Mission Viejo, Calif., Harold of Los Gatos, Calif., and
Dale of Caldwell; two daughters, Lorraine Beavers of Boise and
Elizabeth Kirkhart of Caldwell; one sister, Ila Garrett of
Lebanon, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one
