Services for Cecelia Jane Grigg, 78, of Melba Route 1, who
died Tuesday, Feb. 15, in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted
at 11 a.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa by Bishop
Conrad Zeyer, Melba Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens
in Caldwell.
She was born March 21, 1904, at Harrison, Idaho, a
daughter of Jefferson Davis and Laura Agnes Chadborne Taggart.
She was reared and educated in the Deer Flat area and
remained there until 1929. On March 20, 1929, she married
Eugene Grigg at Caldwell, and they resided in Riverside,
Idaho, until moving to Melba in 1940. She was a member of the
Melba Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Melba; two sons, Robert E.
Grigg, Wallula, Wash., and Allen E. Grigg, Kennewick, Wash.;
one daughter, Verna L. Hurley, Mountain Home; four brothers,
Jeff Taggart, Calif., Richard Taggart, Ed Taggart and Truman
Taggart, all of Nampa; one sister, Lois Sparrow, California;
18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 700
Robbins Road, Boise.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., Thursday. |
