Clyde Ivey

    Funeral services for Clyde V. Ivey, 85, of 576 Sunset Ave., Nampa, who died Friday in a Nampa hospital will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel with Dr. James O. York Sr., pastor of the First Christian Church of Nampa, officiating.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
    He was born 7 October, 1895 at Lebanon, Mo., where eh was reared and educated.  In about 1915 he moved to the Fullerton, Nebr., area where he farmed.  He married Lillie Mae Francis in 1917 at Fullerton.  They farmed in Fullerton until 1943 when they moved to Nampa.  In 1947 he went to work for Robertson Wholesale Plumbing and worked for them until retiring in 1961.  She died March 7, 1976 and he had resided in Nampa since.  He attended the First Christian Church of Nampa.
    He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (LaVera) Sims of Nampa; a son, Vern E. Ivey of Nampa; a sister, Clara Atchley of Lebanon, Mo., seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
